To this end, Single Hearts alternates the entertainment weekly throughout the non-patio season between several of mid-Michigan’s top LIVE DANCE BANDS and some of the areas most innovative and experienced DJs… featuring Zack’s Tunes. See our web calendar for the scheduled entertainment on any given week. Our DJ readily accepts requests and you can always count on a healthy mix of music. With both live bands or DJ, the standard format is 3-4 fast dances, followed by 2-3 slow dances throughout the evening. Typically, a handful of line, waltz, swing, fox trot, and country dances are in the mix each evening. LIVE BAND Dance Music on the Patio During the Patio Party Season, Single Hearts books several of mid-Michigan’s finest live dance bands to play on the outdoor patio overlooking private Hawk Lake. (The live bands play in addition to the DJ playing inside.) To keep the live dance music fresh and entertaining, Single Hearts rotates the patio bands throughout the summer.
